These consist two rooms each with a queen-size bed, one room with two singles; sharing a main bathroom with a fresh-water bath and separate toilet between them. The beautifully established north facing gardens (looking towards Mt Tauhara) are sheltered behind the home and include an upper deck and genuine African thatch umbrella, above a covered conservatory with a BBQ, and open courtyard area; surrounding the Smyth Wing; as well as the kitchen. This area backs onto the lounge which has access to the dining room, front deck and thermal bath, and those glorious ever-changing views across the moana.
The Garden, Courtyard, and Kimberley Rooms are also available individually; but not if the Smyth Wing is already booked. The Smyth Wing enables you to have a room per person at a better rate; and gives exclusive use of the wing, bathroom and toilet.

The Lake Room listing is for a private room and was the original master bedroom with ensuite. It has private access to the front deck and thermal bath; with commanding south facing views of the township across Lake Taupo to the Mountains of the UNESCO dual World Heritage National Park, Kaimaniwa Ranges and beyond. This deck also connects and shares the views with the lounge and dining rooms. A continental breakfast is also included.
